At Eternity's Gate - Vincent van Gogh

"The tortured artist is a stock character and real-life stereotype who is in constant torment due to frustrations with art
and other people. Tortured artists feel alienated and misunderstood due
to the perceived ignorance or neglect of others who do not understand
them and the things they feel are important"
                                                                               -Wikipedia-Tortured artist

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Frustration has had a long time relationship with the artist.

Not being able to create something good or not being able to express your idea correctly is one of the major causes of frustration for the artist.

Well for beginning artists, their work is not that widely known. So there is not much of input. This can mean two things for him/her.

1. People don't like my work. Maybe I should improve.

2. People don't like my work. Maybe I should quit.

Both these choices can have their own impacts. That is up to the artist to choose.

Non-artists might not be able to really understand an artist's feelings. The ability to 'create' something is a feeling that not many people can understand. Just as mother understands her child, an artist also understands the work that he has so painfully created.

Generally, an artist wants people to look at his/her work and appreciate it.  Hell, everyone want to be appreciated for their work. When no one looks at your work you feel disappointed and probably frustrated. It's normal, it's natural.

The solution is to keep on working hard to achieve the level you want. There is nothing that you cannot do. Show your work to the right kind of people, the right audience. Take into consideration the criticisms that people throw at you give to your work.

Here is a quote by Oogway(fictional character) in relation to a peach tree:-

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I cannot make it blossom when it suits me, nor make it bear fruit before its time."

Well, I recently installed C4D just to try it out. I didn't think I'll like it. Actually I'm quite skeptical to try new software. I didn't know if the experience was gonna be a good one or not. But hey, it was actually good. Cinema 4D is a pretty good software for creating 'cool' stuff. But I guess all that 'coolness' comes from the type of communities who use C4D. Maybe there are so many hip artists using C4D which is why it gets a 'cool' tag attached to it. At least I view it that way.
Unlike Autodesk Maya and other 'serious' software I've seen that C4D users try to make things a little, um, abstract, yeah.  It is, in my opinion, one of the easiest 3D packages to learn. The workspace is not cluttered. All the features are nicely packed into clearly defined menus. I didn't have to cycle or go through a loop of menus to get things done. It's quite productive. I see how useful it can be to create commercials. Maybe that's why it was fitting to release just a Broadcast version of it. I have yet to try all the features of C4D though. I hope that, with time, I get experienced enough in it. Maybe I'll do an extensive review then.

Here's a render I made using Cinema 4D and Photoshop :
